Wild Carrot Society #1
Wild Carrot Society #1
Honoring Luddites and Neo-Luddites of the past, present and future, this poster borrows a line from Lord Byron's 1816 poem, "Song for the Luddites," to illustrate Jerry Mander's fifth recommended attitude about technology. Handset wood and metal type was printed alongside hand-carved relief engravings by Jessica Owings Crouch, in collaboration with Wolverine Farm and Perelandra Bookshop for the Wild Carrot Society of Technological Disobedience. This limited edition poster was printed by hand on acid-free Classic Crest "Solar White" cover paper with a 1963 Vandercook SP15 printing press at The State Park Press in Fort Collins, Colorado.
